Chuck Brierton
Lead Guitar of 32 years
I'm a native of
Rushville, Illinois and came to Pekin in 1991 to rejoin the band
Silent Tiger. Yeah.....I know, I know.
I've always been a fan of hard rock music - even as a little kid I was drawn
to
Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath, Kiss and Montrose. All time favorites include Rush, The Fixx, Extreme, Rammstein, NIN, Manson, Stabbing Westward, and Killing Joke.
I've never listened to country music - never - so all of this is quite different,
but I am having a blast putting my tilt on the
material.
My current setup is Rusty, my good ol' Ibanez RG570. Like me, he's seen
better days but still works.
An Ampeg VH140-C head over an old 4x12 cabinet that's been cut in half to give me two
2x12 cabinets so I can run the amps' on
board chorus in true stereo. I also use a Digitech RP200A for effects.
Previous bands include XYZ, Thornhill, Rigid Pidgin, Silent Tiger and Gunn
Hwy.
Many thanks to Bill, Brian, and Denell for letting me come in and throw a
big wrench into things.
